This is a FREE opportunity for our members and anyone else (SPREAD THE WORD) that is interested in being ready to help someone in a crisis. With 1 in 4 Americans experiencing a Mental or addiction disorder each year, Mental Health First Aid should be as common as CPR. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.
The training includes a certificate good for 3 years. We will have CEUs for CFLE. If CEUs are required for a different organization participants can Work with their own governing bodies to get CEUs for the training.
OHCFR President, Carmen Irving, MA, CFLE, CYC-P will be the instructor for this training and any questions can be directed to Carmen at 937.642.1212 or [email protected].
